This month with the Mackrills

These past few months have been so busy. As I look back on this past month I thank God for all of the answered prayers and for His watch care over us. March has especially been busy. My father-in-law, Bro. Jerry Chandler had triple bypass heart surgery on 7th, March. He is back home now and is recuperating. We drove furiously from Kentucky to be there for him before his surgery and then stayed a week after to help take care of him and to also make an appointment at Faith Baptist Church, Cabot, AR.

January flew by so fast! We arrived back safely stateside on the 8th and took a day of rest before heading off to Cabot, AR to visit my parents and celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. It was such a special time with family. That following weekend we spent time with Amy’s parents and gave a report to the Pleasant Hill MBC, Lynn, AR. We greatly appreciate their kindness, brotherly love and generosity. After a bout of winter weather we took Amy to her first doctor appointment. Please continue to keep her and her health in your prayers as we seek answers to the symptoms that she has been dealing with for a while now. We enjoyed a Wednesday evening with Pleasant Hill again and that following weekend, Bro. Jerry Chandler and I traveled to Winter Haven, FL where he preached a week long missions revival for the Westwood MBC and I was able to attend and give a report. I was also invited to preach and give a report to the First Baptist Church of Indian River City, Titusville, FL. We want to thank both of these churches for their brotherly love and generosity. The Lord used the missions revival in a mighty way and moved in my heart. It was great time of fellowship and I left revived and ready to get back on the deputation trail! The last Sunday of January we were able to visit, preach and give a report to both the Central MBC, Newport, AR and the Rings Chapel MBC, Cave City, AR. We greatly appreciate their love and generosity also!

We began February by traveling to Kentucky. We arrived safely and was greeted by a mission house stocked full by our sending church. They always make us feel loved and take such good care of us. We also want to say thank you to the Macedonian Missionary Service for allowing us to stay in the Evening Shade Mission Home. Our first Sunday was spent at our sending church, Langdon Street Baptist. It was a wonderful time of fellowship. That following week we made a trip back to Arkansas. Amy was scheduled to have a few tests which all came back with good news. Thank you all for your prayers for Amy’s health. We traveled back to Kentucky for the next weekend where we were able to update both the Bradley’s Pleasure Baptist Church of Nancy, KY and Clear Springs Baptist Church of Russell Springs, KY. We enjoyed an amazing time of fellowship with both churches. The following weekend was spent with both the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Lancaster, KY and Unity Baptist Church, Danville, KY. It was another time of sweet fellowship which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately we spent the remainder of the month quarantined at the mission house due to illness. We are all doing much better now. We want to say a special thank you to all of the churches mentioned above for their years of faithful financial support and most importantly for their faithful prayer support.
