This month with the Mackrills
See you at the ABA!
Last month was filled with so many blessings. We began the month of May preparing for a long road trip from Batesville, AR to Stuart, VA. We left at the end of April and stopped halfway in Somerset, KY for another visit with our sending church, Langdon Street Baptist Church. We enjoyed a great time of fellowship at their Wednesday evening service on the 1st. We left that Saturday for the remainder of our trip and arrived that afternoon in Stuart, VA just in time for an evening service at the Unity Baptist Church. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship that weekend with the church and Bro. Ed and Sis. Sherry Hartman. We are so grateful for their many years of prayers and support.
We traveled back to Arkansas for Mother’s Day weekend. We not only celebrated Amy but were also able to celebrate our mothers as well. Sunday morning the 12th we were able to be with the New Liberty MBC, Beebe, AR. I enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to preach and give a report. My mother and father were able to be at the morning services as well. We appreciate the prayers and generosity of the New Liberty MBC. That following evening we were able to celebrate Mother’s Day with Amy’s mother at the Pleasant Hill MBC, Lynn, AR.
The following week we celebrated my 35th birthday. I want to say thank you for all the happy birthday wishes. That weekend we traveled to Shreveport, LA. Sunday morning I was blessed to give a report on the mission work and preach at the Greenacres MBC, Bossier City, LA. We are so thankful for their faithful years of prayers and support. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship. That evening we were at Westlake BC, Shreveport, LA where I was able to preach and give a report. We are also thankful for their faithful years of prayers and support and enjoyed a good time of fellowship. That Monday the 20th, we traveled to Texarkana, AR for the standing missionary committee meeting held at the Northern Hills MBC where I was able to give my report in person that Tuesday morning. Wednesday evening the 22nd I was able to preach and give a report to the Antioch MBC, Little Rock, AR. I am so thankful for their generosity, prayers, and support.
The following weekend I was blessed to be able to travel to West Monroe, LA. Sunday morning 26th I was given the privilege to preach and give a report to the Hyde Park MBC. We are grateful for their faithful years of prayers, support, and generosity. That evening I was blessed to be able to give a report and preach at the Central MBC, Pineville, LA. Their faithful years of prayers, support, and generosity are greatly appreciated also.
The work in Romania
I am pleased to report that the work in Romania is continuing well. Services in both Zarnesti and Feldioara are well attended. Bro. Marian continues to preach through the gospel of John at Zarnesti and Bro. Florin continues to lead out in the services in Feldioara. The monthly humanitarian visits continue and the three girls from one of the families we minister to in Rotbav continue to come to services in Feldioara.
Thank you all for your prayers and support! God bless
