The Romanian Humanitarian Relief Ministry is a foreign relief ministry of Langdon Street Baptist Church. It’s primary goal is to meet the physical needs of those who are truly in need of help. Within the biblical parameters, these needs are met. With the help of our Romanian brothers and sisters, we are able to asses and address those who have truly urgent physical needs and are unable to meet them without outside help. This ministry seeks to open the door for the gospel to be heard and meet people’s urgent spiritual need, which is salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. The biblical basis for this relief ministry can be found all throughout the New Testament as we see Jesus meeting people’s urgent physical needs, and then addressing their much more urgent spiritual need. This relief ministry is supported 100% by generous love offerings and monthly support partners whose desire is to see the people of Romania come to know Jesus as their personal savior.
